Standing in the Public Square: Faces of the 2012 Reason Rally is a pictorial remembrance of the largest gathering of atheists, agnostics, rationalists and skeptics in history. It took place on the Mall in Washington, D.C. in the rain. Neither attendance nor spirits were dampened by the weather. This is the story of that event in pictures enhanced with quotes from the speakers and performers. Ingrid Laas and Bruce Press were there as part of the community and as photographers driven to capture this historic event for posterity. This book is a family album, of sorts, for all the people that worked so hard to make this event happen, traveled so far to stand there in the rain and for all those who wanted to, but could not be there.
