La Llavecita Dorada (the Little Golden Key)

One Saturday morning, the Mouse brothers set off in search of adventure. They were very happy: the big one, the middle-sized one, and the little one. Next to the path, they saw something glittering, like a little piece of the sun. It was a little golden key. But what did it open? Could it be the key to a pirate’s treasure chest? Would it open the gates of a gigantic medieval castle? The three brothers, restless and eager to find what the key opens, will embark on an adventure to solve the great mystery. The answer, however, is closer than they think...

Una mañana de sábado, los hermanos Ratón salieron en busca de aventuras. Iban los tres muy risueños: el mayor, el mediano y el pequeño. Junto al borde del sendero, encontraron un reflejo, como un pedazo de sol. Era una llavecita dorada. Y con ella... qué se podría abrir? Será la llave que abrirá el gran cofre de un tesoro? Abrirá las puertas de un gigantesco castillo medieval? Los tres hermanos, inquietos y deseosos de encontrar aquello que la llave abre, emprenderán una aventura para conseguir resolver el gran misterio. La respuesta, sin embargo, está más cerca de lo que ellos creen...

The award-winning author Roberto Aliaga was born in Spain where he graduated as a biologist. He has published more then 30 books, many of which have been translated into different languages. In 2009 he was included in the White Raven list.

The award-winning illustrator Dani Padrón was born in Ourense, Spain, an architect by training. He started his career as an illustrator in 2011, after winning the Pura e Dora Vézquez Award for the illustrations of his first book. Since then, he has published several books.

El galardonado autor Roberto Aliaga nació en España donde se graduó como biólogo. Ha publicado más de 30 libros, muchos de los cuales han sido traducidos a diferentes idiomas. En 2009 fue incluido en la lista de White Raven.

El galardonado ilustrador Dani Padrón nació en Ourense, España, un arquitecto de formación. Comenzó su carrera como ilustrador en 2011, después de ganar el Premio Pura y Dora Vézquez por las ilustraciones de su primer libro. Desde entonces, ha publicado varios libros.
