I have a son who is 8 and this colouring book is a bit too detailed for his level. It seems to be the perfect colouring book for adults and youth.Felt Tipped Pens or Crayons?I have intentionally designed this book to have single-sided pages so that you can take the pages out and not need to worry about felt markers bleeding through the pages and not being able to colour on the back side of the page. If you plan to colour with the pages remaining in the book, I would still recommend you put an extra sheet of paper behind the one you are colouring on, simply so that you can ensure there is no bleeding of the ink through to the next page. Felt-tipped pens or sharp pencil crayons are suitable. Crayons wouldn't likely give you the desired look because there are many small spaces that could work better with a fine-tipped marker or pencil. Frame Your Colouring Book PagesWhen you have completed a page, carefully remove it from the book and frame it or laminate it. These would be wonderful homemade gifts for the people you care about. Nadine Staaf is a Canadian artist from British Columbia, now living on Prince Edward Island. She and her husband have a young son who inspires Nadine to continually do and be more in the world. Nadine has always said ＂one day, I will make children’s books.＂ Then, one day, the idea of designing an adult colouring book came rushing into her mind. An adult colouring book idea was not expected, but it was exactly the best fit for her. Nadine has wanted to fine-tune her line drawing skills and designing a colouring book would definitely help her to develop those skills. Nadine plans to continue creating books, with a goal of publishing at least one new book each year. As time moves forward, she would like to be recognized with a book award of some kind (because that would be FUN)! Nadine has the intention of making the world a better place for everyone.
