The Booger from Outer Space

When Kermit, the new kid in school, gets infected by a green booger-like creature lurking beneath Harmony's forest, Tor Bough isn't too worried. But then Kermit starts acting really weird. For one thing, all he can think about is food and where to get more of it. And more. And more still. And for another, he can't wait for Tor and his friends to get infected as well. As more and more parents-and Tor's dog Tom -are turned into blob people, the thing starts growing bigger and bigger. Before long, half of Harmony has been infected and the giant booger has become as big as a house. Now it's up to Tor and his friends to try and stop this thing from taking over the rest of the town-or even the rest of the country

Ever since I was a kid I was bitten by the writing bug: when I was ten, I decided I wanted to write a mystery story, just like my hero Agatha Christie (who wrote the Hercule Poirot stories). I only got as far as the second page before I realized that writing is a lot harder than it seems. And that you need some kind of story before you sit down to write! Over the years, I wrote stories in all the genres I liked best: mystery, thriller, comedy, romance, adventure... I even wrote movie screenplays about monster spiders and singing ghosts. Finally, I decided to try and write a funny and scary story for kids. To my surprise, I liked it so much, that I wrote a couple more, and then a couple more and... Well, to make a long story short, I’m a children’s writer now. I actually studied to be a political scientist, but then I discovered that I didn’t like politics all that much, so now I just spend my time writing stories. As you might have guessed from my name, I was born and raised in Belgium, the home of Tintin, Jean-Claude Van Damme, chocolate and waffles and the one and only Manneken Pis.
