作者簡介

Coleen Balch, MSN, RN-BC, ANP, AACC, is certified by New York State as an adult nurse practitioner. She has been practicing at a large upstate New York teaching hospital since 1995, where she was the first cardiology service nurse practitioner. Coleen’s first love has always been cardiology. She worked for 17 years in an intensive care unit for cardiac patients prior to graduating from NP school, and she continues to manage cardiac patients at the same distinguished hospital. Throughout her career, Coleen has taught many courses in cardiac health subjects for professionals and for patients and their families, espe-cially related to con-ges-tive heart failure. Coleen is a skilled cook whose recipes have been featured in several national publications.
