Jorge el curioso y los bomberos / Curious George and the Firefighters + Downloadable audio

After creating a mess at the local fire station while taking a tour, George is swept along with the firefighters to the scene of a fire. Although he isn’t able to help put out the fire, George brings his own set of special monkey talents to the situation and proves that maybe a fire dog shouldn’t be the only animal allowed to come along for the ride.

Hans Augusto Rey was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1898. As a child, he spent much of his time in the city’s famous Hagenbeck Zoo, drawing animals. Hans and his wife, Margret, escaped Paris in 1940 by bicycle, carrying the manuscript for the first Curious George book. They came to live in the United States, and Curious George was published in 1941.
