Robert Irwin is Professor and Chancellor’s Fellow in the Department of Spanish and Portugese at the University of California, USA. He is the author of Bandits, Captives, Heroines and Saints: Cultural Icons of Mexico’s Northwest Borderlands (2007), and co-editor of Dictionary of Latin American Cultural Studies (2011).
Mariacruz Castro Ricalde is Professor of Humanities at the Tecnológico de Monterry, Mexico. She is the author and co-editor of several books on Mexican culture and literature in Spanish, including El Cine Mexicano se Impone (2012).
