It's 1972 and 24-year-old Adrian Berger's life is about to change. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Gail L. Winfree has lived in Germany since 1974. He lives in an old farmhouse in the Palatinate with wife Monika, six pugs, and numerous cats.
