She has since worked for numerous publishers creating, editing, proofreading, and fact-checking puzzles, including The New York Times, the New York Sun, the Wall Street Journal, New York Newsday, Games magazine, Sterling Publishing, Random House/Times Books, People, Modern Maturity, Reader’s Digest, Book of the Month Club, and the American Crossword Federation. Billig has been an editor of The Uptown Puzzle Club and Dell Crosswords since 2001. She wrote and researched questions for the television game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Billig’s book Sit & Solve Cryptograms was published by Sterling in March 2002.
