After sharing some personal poetry with friends, As a young girl Jodi Perito was encouraged by classmates and teachers to write personal poetry for them. then the requests came from, clients and Co -workers. She has always had the ability to put a human experience into the written word. Jodi is a classically trained pianist, holding the "Mrs. Colorado American Queen" title in 1992-93 Working as a hairdresser for nearly 30 years, owning her own salon she connected with men, women and children from all "walks," "faiths," ’"cultures" "ages" of humanity, becoming deeply educated in being, living and feeling all things throughout all stages, of the human cycle of life. Jodi suffered a traumatic brain injury August 17, 2002 . After waking from her coma with 2 fractures in her spine, loosing most of her sight and becoming a member of the handicapped community, this book project nearly did not happen. she is of the belief we are more alike than there are differences between us.
