Ted Spiegel’s photographs have illustrated many National Geographic articles as well as a shelf full of books, including New York’s Hudson--America’s Valley, Gardens of the Hudson Valley, West Point, and An American Treasure: The Hudson Valley. His annual ＂Hudson River Valley Calendar＂ has been a regional favorite for the last twenty years.

Former editor-in-chief of Hudson Valley magazine, Reed Sparling is currently a writer for Scenic Hudson, the valley’s largest environmental organization. He is also the editor of the Hudson River Valley Review, has penned a guidebook to Boscobel Restoration, and contributed content to the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area’s Web site.
